Sightseeing and Attractions

Here we have listed just a few of the nearby places of interest and attractions which make Whitecroft Farm such a prime location B&B, where we hope you will find yourself near enough to enjoy your choice of the wide variety of activities the area has to offer.

We are ideally situated adjacent to the Royal Bath and West Showground. The showground holds a range of events throughout the year, a list of which can be found on their website. So ensure that you make your reservation with us early for the most popular events, as we are sure to be booked up quickly due to our outstanding location next door to the showground.

We are also located very near to the Glastonbury Festival site. Please note we are booked up well in advance at festival times and increased traffic in the area makes for difficult journeys, so please plan your visit with this in mind.

If you fancied a spot of culture or historical sightseeing during your stay, the city of Wells is a short drive or bus trip away, where you can visit the beautiful Cathedral and town.

There are also some great family days out at the popular tourist attractions Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar Gorge, as well as the famous wildlife park Longleat.

Fleet Air Arm Museum, representing the flying arm of the Royal Navy, can also make a great family day out and a rare chance to see the world famous Concorde.

If however you preferred to venture into the nearby cities, Bath and Bristol are also within easy travelling distance, where there are many other attractions, restaurants, leisure facilities and shopping opportunities.
